RWE, McCarthy donate to TES
The city of Thorndale wants to give a huge thank you to RWE and McCarthy Construction. Thorndale Elementary School is incredibly grateful for the generous donation of time, money, and resources from RWE and McCarthy Construction. They went above and beyond by extending our playground patio area, purchasing brand new benches and picnic tables, installing 4 new basketball goals and 2 soccer goals for our students to enjoy, and donating $5,000 to support our school. Your kindness and support are making a big difference for our students, and we appreciate you more than words can say.
Timmons takes over as publisher
Veteran newspaperman Tim Timmons is the new publisher for the Thorndale Champion, as well as other central Texas papers owned by Moser Community Media.
