What was once a long-vacant house in Cameron has been transformed into a place of comfort, connection and purpose, thanks to a local couple with a passion for both homes and helping others.
Egg-citement Takes Over Courthouse Lawn
Cameron ISD hosted the UIL District 3A Area 19 One Act Play Competition on Wednesday at the Cameron ISD Performing Arts Center, welcoming student performers and directors from across the region. Yoe High School took the stage with “This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing” by Finegan Kruckemeyer, earning a fourth-place finish in the competition. The play follows three sisters who set out on separate journeys into the world, each facing unique challenges that test their courage, resilience and sense of self before ultimately finding their way back to one another.
