Ethan and Garrett Schramm represented Thorndale at the State tennis Thursday May 15 tournament in San Antonio. The duo competed in the 2A Boys Doubles Quarterfinals, where they battled hard but ultimately fell to a strong team from Seymour with scores of 5-7 and 1-6. Congratulations to Ethan and Garrett Schramm on an incredible season and reaching the State Quarterfinals.
The Cameron Police Department held a memorial service honoring fallen officer Sgt. Joshua Clouse, who was killed in the line of duty in 2023.

The May 6th storm brought fierce rain into the county, flooding county roads, and it dropped a tornado on the east side of the Hwy 77 Long Bridge near Cameron. The National Weather Service came out to survey the damage the next morning.
