Archeology Month in Milam County

Our participation in Cameron’s festival on Saturday, September 20th, in the Milam County Historical Museum and the Railroad Museum in Cameron was hosted by the Milam County Historical Commission and El Camino Real de los Tejas National Historic Trail Association. Our program consisted of: An El Camino Trail Information Table A Plants Along El Camino Real Exhibit Donated to the Trail Association by Milam County Texas Master Naturalists A Texas Historical Commission Information Table on Archeology Milam County Historical Commission Archeological Teacher Education Materials A hands-on imitation

Milam County 4-H Awards

The Milam County 4-H Awards Program is held each year to celebrate the accomplishments of our Milam County 4-H members who have excelled in their specific field(s) of interest throughout the year. These young men and women work hard to achieve various levels of accomplishment at the County, District, State, and National Levels. Milam County 4-H Awards program was held on Sunday, September 7, 2025. In the last few articles, we have been highlighting these fantastic youth. This last news article focuses on this year’s graduating senior award (graduates 2026), recordbook awards from each 4-H Club, County Council Officers, and Outstanding 4-H Club winners.
