First Baptist Church was awarded May Yard of the Month by Fleur-de-Lis Garden Club. Tom & Dottie West volunteer their time planting & taking care of the beautiful garden, which has a variety of flowers.
Milam County 4-H will host its annual “Fri-YAY Day Camp” on Friday, June 26, at the Milam County Extension Office located at 908 N. Crockett Ave. in Cameron. Youth from across the county are invited to attend a fun-filled day of hands-on activities, games, learning opportunities, and summer excitement.
Two Thorndale Lady Dogs are headed to the State Track Meet on Friday, May 15, at the Mike A. Myers Track and Soccer Stadium in Austin.
The Thorndale Lady Dogs defeated West Hardin 14-4 and 17-2 in the Area Championship this past week. They will now take on Flatonia in the Regional Semi-Finals.
