The Cameron City Pool is scheduled to open for the 2026 season on May 26 and will remain in operation through August 1. Regular swimming hours are held Tuesday through Sunday from noon. to 5 p.m., and the pool also hosts a dedicated Family Night every Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The Milam County Railroad Museum has announced its 4th annual Summer Engineer Camps for 2026, featuring three distinct sessions held at the museum classroom in Cameron, Texas. Under the leadership of Museum Director Jamie Larson and Education Director Ashley Prine, these camps are designed to offer hands-on learning in teamwork, creativity and problem-solving.
