Library is Looking Forward to Fall
The dog days of summer are upon us. I know many of us are already looking forward to Fall and cooler weather. Fall is an exciting time of year not only because of the change in temperatures but also because it brings a variety of festivals and events not only here locally in Cameron but also within a short drive in our surrounding areas. Why not attend a few festivals such as the Steak, Stein and Wine Festival here in Cameron. Westfest will take place on Labor Day Weekend. The Heart of Texas Fair & Rodeo returns to Waco in October. Or consider heading out to Bryan for the Brazos Valley Fair & Rodeo mid-October. My personal favorites to attend every year are the Robinson Family Farm Fall Festival in Temple and of course The Texas State Fair in Dallas. All these festivals are a short drive away and very family friendly. So, start planning your fun fall activities. More information about all the festivals listed above can be found via a quick google search or by visiting each events webpage to get exact date and times.
