Students in Mrs. Cassie Callahan’s Ag Science classes at Cameron Junior High recently completed a special hands-on project just in time for the holidays: designing, building, and painting 104 wooden toy cars for every Pre-K student at Ben Milam Elementary School.
High school football once ruled just about everything this time of year, from the airwaves to the much-anticipated local TV Sports segment, and even the Big Screen with the success of Friday Night Lights. I can still see Thorndale alumnus Dale Caffey broadcasting live from the KCEN Sports Desk a couple decades ago; he might as well have been Clint Eastwood to me. I probably even asked for his autograph at some point.
