The Cameron Yoemen baseball team hosted the Lexington Eagles on Tuesday April 22. The Yoemen defeated Lexington, winning 10-2. Lexington got on the scoreboard first in the top of the first inning with two runs to take an early 2-0 lead. Cameron tied the game at 2 in the bottom of the first inning. The runs were scored when Kallin Koehl walked and found his way home to score on a fielder’s choice hit by Andrew Castillo. That was followed with an RBI single to right field by Tanner Chudej.
The Yoe High track teams had a great showing at the 44 Farms Relays last Thursday. The varsity girls placed third overall with 91 points. Brandi Drake was the top
The Yoe baseball team picked up a shutout victory over rival Rockdale on Friday. Anthony Layne tossed a complete game shutout to help Cameron pick up a sweep of Rockdale.
The Yoemen track team has a successful day at the Rockdale Relays last week. Results for the varsity boys were as follows: High Jump - Kadrian Hammond - first place
