Cameron Thrift Store Food Bank Building Expansion Project
The Cameron Area Christian Services Thrift Store is proud to announce that we are currently in the process of expanding our food bank operations that include adding on to our existing “new” metal building. The new addition will extend to the sidewalk next to our existing building on Houston Street. It will be used to house our food bank and other food related storage and refrigeration. Customers will also use the new addition to pick up food. Due to an increase in food distribution, we have effectively out grown our original store. The new addition will reduce congestion in the original store giving customers more room to shop in the regular store, and give food customer extra space to receive food. The new metal building addition is being constructed by Mr. Murdock Dorner of Dorner Homes.
