I’ve got an upcoming article for Memorial Day; you don’t want to miss it. The story kicks off about military challenge coins and putting those coins on gravesites of veterans as a token of respect. Anyone who spent time in the military or law enforcement knows about these coins, and many collect them, as do I. One of my favorites was a police chief’s challenge coin, which came to me from the Georgetown PD. It states, rather simply, yet eloquently, “Refuse Mediocrity.”
