Fri. April 10

(9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) Preservation Rosebud will hold a workday to prepare the museum for the Golden Years reception and Community Free Museum Day on Saturday, April 11. All are welcome to lend a hand at 117 N. 2nd St. to make the windows sparkle.

Sat. April 11

(9 a.m. - 3 p.m.) Preservation Rosebud will hold a reception for the Golden Years Alumni along with a free museum day for the community. (117 N. 2nd St. Rosebud) (10:30 a.m.) Monthly Community Clean-up of Walker St. (behind H-E-B), all volunteers are welcome.

Marlin Art in the Park, Community Paint Event at Apple Sport Park (316 Park Ln. Marlin), hosted by candidates for Marlin ISD School Board Jacqueline Sanders (district 2) and Sonia Ponce (at large). Free guided painting experience of the Marlin Bulldog. Supplies are limited, so reserve your spot online through Facebook (event can be found with a simple search of “Marlin Art in the Park”). Tues. April 21

(6 p.m.) The Falls County A&M Club will meet for Aggie Muster at “The Chicken Place” in Marlin on Tuesday, April 21. The 1883 alumni of Texas A&M University gathered together to “live over again their college days, the victories and defeats won and lost upon the drill field and in the classroom.” The same year, the Ex-Cadets Association established the “Roll Call for the Absent.” If you have an Aggie’s name that needs to be placed on “Muster Roll Call,” contact Jim Cathey ‘65, at 254-883-0381.

Their name will be called and all Aggies will answer “HERE”!

(6 p.m.) Rosebud-Lott Band Boosters host their annual Cake Auction fundraiser at Rosebud-Lott High School! Cash, card, and checks will be accepted, and your support of the Cougar Band will be greatly appreciated.

Sat. April 25

(2 p.m.) Falls County Public Safety Expo at Falls Community Hospital & Clinic parking lot. See the ambulances, helicopter, fire trucks, and law enforcement agencies that serve Falls County at this free event. Speak with groups and individuals that help keep the county safe, and learn how you can get involved. More info to come.

The Christmas Parade will take place in Rosebud, bringing the community together for a holiday celebration.
