Cameron Volunteer Fire Department Marks 134 Years of Service
For more than 130 years, the Cameron Volunteer Fire Department has been a steady presence in times of crisis, protecting neighbors and preserving the community. What began in 1890 with bucket brigades and then horse-drawn wagons has grown into a modern department serving 336 square miles of Milam County.
