Residents of Thorndale and greater Milam County now have a faster, more reliable way to stay informed during emergencies, thanks to the newly updated Onsolve CodeRED notification system.
Thorndale Police Chief Roberson is reminding residents to ask for a valid solicitor’s permit before doing business with doorto-door salespeople. Chief Roberson said solicitors offering services such as tree trimming, window installation or magazine sales must pass a background check and obtain a permit before going door-to-door.
