Milam County 4-H Members Serve as Ambassadors
Milam County 4-H is recognizing a group of exceptional youth who have taken on leadership roles as ambassadors in programs across Texas.
Community Service is Turning Second Chances into Texas-Sized Change!
Some may be asking, “what is Community Service?” Community Service, as part of many probation sentences, is where probationers work on projects for the county and around the county helping to complete various jobs and meet community needs. Helping entities that are often unable to afford help. Not every organization qualifies, but most non-profits, school districts, and government offices to name a few can request and get help from our Milam County Community Service office.
Cameron Council Meeting Moved to August 19
The Cameron City Council’s regular meeting originally set for Monday, Aug. 18, has been rescheduled due to a conflict, city officials announced. A special meeting will instead be held at 5:30 p.m.
