Basics of photography at the library

On June 23rd, Photographer Gabby Rodriguez taught kids the basics of photography. It was a very interesting presentation for the kids, they had a lot of interesting questions, and we all learned many new things. Ms. Gabby had a screen set up and props for kids to take pictures, those pictures were emailed to their families. We will end our Summer Presenters Series with Mrs. Carol Isaaks of Planting Seeds Art Studio on June 30th.

Rotary is Chamber’s Organization of the Month

The Cameron Rotary Club is the Chamber of Commerce Organization of the Month for June. Cameron’s Chapter of Rotary International was chartered in 1938 and has served the community through many sustainable projects during it’s 87 year history in Cameron. Current and recent projects include sending Cameron youth to RYLA - a youth leadership summer camp; the downtown beautification project with planters, benches, and lights; annual Rotary Relays with Cameron Elementary students; and Cameron’s annual S’more Christmas and Children’s Mini Parade. We thank Cameron Rotary Club for all you do for our community!
