Early voting is over for the upcoming May 2 election in Milam County, with several municipalities and school districts across the county having races for open seats and policy change.

Cameron Yoe High School is trying to make it a little easier on busy parents, hosting a Physical Day on May 12. There, students can get their required physical completed for the upcoming athletic season.

With its completion date slated for October, the Milam County “Stargate” project will first be comprised of a single-story 548,950 square foot data center with four data halls. Initial estimates for the project’s cost are $470 million.
