Several members of the Cameron Yoe Yoemen varsity football team were named to the 2025 District 11-3A All-District team recently.
It was a rough and tough 2025 football season for the Milano Eagles, filled with injuries and players stepping in to feel the gaps when asked. This team was ever so close to landing the No. 4 playoff seed after going 3-4 in district play, finishing the year at 3-7. The effort this Nicholas Morehead coached Eagles team put forward didn’t go unnoticed as several players were selected to the 2025 District 13-2A, Division II All-District Football Team recently.
Just a little bit of action this past week for area basketball teams, as Christmas break is smack dab upon us. Players have thoughts of what’s under the tree, while coaches have been wishing to Santa for more wins. Maybe each will get what they wished for!
