RICHARD THADDEUS COOK

Richard Thaddeus Cook, 57, of Thorndale, Texas went home to rest Wednesday, June 11, 2025, where he was surrounded by his loving family. Services will be Friday, June 20, 2025, at 1 P.M. at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Pastor Freddie Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Locklin Cemetery in San Gabriel, Texas. The family will receive visitors, Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Richard was born in Thorndale, Texas on June 19, 1967. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tommy and Idella Cook; parents, Richard Williams and Earnestine Cook; motherin- law Lorraine King and grandson, Jordan San Miguel.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Yvonne King Cook, they married on April 30, 1993. He leaves behind his three children, son, Brandon San Miguel and wife Jordan; son, Thaddeus Cook and wife Valerie, and daughter, Tamicka Cook and husband Joey. He also leaves behind ten of his grandchildren. Aleiya, Keiana, Lyric, Brooklyn, Ameina, Tayden, Nylah, Demi, Kehlani and Brielle. Along with his sister, Michelle Williams, and her husband Fredrick; his father-in-law Vernon King Sr., brother-in-law Vernon King Jr. and wife Pamela. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Pallbearers are as follows: sons’, Brandon and Thaddeus; grandson Tayden; nephews, SeDerrick Brooks, Elonte Goss and D’Vaunghncee Goss.

Honorary Pallbearers are as follows: Daniel Sifuentes, Kalen Reiva, Marcus Gest, Joey Ruscio, Robert Mitchell and Shorty Mitchell.
