The Cameron City Council held its regular meeting Sept. 15 at City Hall. They took the following action: They held a first reading for an ordinance adopting a Water Conservation and Drought Contingency Plan, providing for a Penalty or Fine Not to Exceed the Sum of $200.00 for Each Offense.
A Cameron man is in custody following a multiagency investigation into an aggravated robbery at a local convenience store last month. According to the Cameron Police Department, officers responded to Mike’s Convenience Store at 1003 West 4th Street on August 12, after receiving a report that the store clerk had been robbed at gunpoint.
