Students, educators and community members gathered Thursday morning to continue one of Cameron’s most cherished traditions: the annual Yoe Day ceremony honoring C.H. and Caroline Yoe, whose generosity helped establish a lasting educational legacy for the city.
Members of the C.H. Yoe High School Class of 2026 made their annual Senior Walk through Cameron Elementary and Ben Milam Elementary, giving younger students a glimpse of their future while celebrating the seniors’ upcoming graduation. The tradition allows seniors to reconnect with former teachers and inspire the next generation of Yoemen and Lady Yoe students.
