Celebrate Children’s Book Week May 4–10

Libraries across the country will come together May 4–10 to celebrate Children’s Book Week, a national event dedicated to inspiring young readers and highlighting the importance of children’s literature. This year’s theme is “Books: Get Curious” First established in 1919, Children’s Book Week is the longest-running national literacy initiative in the United States. The week encourages families, educators, and libraries to share the joy of reading with children of all ages and promoting lifelong learning through books.
