Cameron Furniture & Appliance has announced its 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway, once again partnering with the renowned Circle S BBQ to provide a delicious, fully cooked turkey.
The Cameron Chamber of Commerce congratulates its November Business of the Month, the Venue at Railfan. The owners and operators of the Venue at Railfan support numerous community events, and the Chamber is proud to have partnered with them on several of its own over the years. The beautifully restored, spacious venue provides an ideal atmosphere for nearly any occasion. Mike and Kim McMahon, along with Barbara Dominguez, make an outstanding team dedicated to bringing any event vision to life.
Yoe Band Wraps Up Marching Season at State
Independent authors, crafters and cottage bakers are invited to participate in the inaugural Small Town Big Book Festival, an outdoor community event celebrating literacy, local talent and small-town creativity. Organizers are seeking writers interested in connecting directly with readers and selling their books on-site, as well as vendors offering handcrafted goods, baked items and other unique creations. Authors will retain all proceeds from their book sales.
Hometown pride shines bright this month as Dr. Caprica Wells, a 1993 graduate of Yoe High School, returns to Cameron for a special book signing event from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, at ZX Made in Texas, located in the heart of historic downtown Cameron.
