Cameron Yoe HS Hosts Physical Day

In Texas, nearly all middle and high school athletes need a have a completed, valid physical exam before participating in school-sanctioned sports. Cameron Yoe High School is trying to make it a little easier on busy parents, hosting a Physical Day on May 12. There, students can get their required physical completed for the upcoming athletic season.

Milam County Data Center Projected at Nearly 550,000 SF

A recent filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation gives Milam County residents a glimpse at the size of OpenAI’s planned data center in its first phase. With its completion date slated for October, the Milam County “Stargate” project will first be comprised of a single-story 548,950 square foot data center with four data halls. Initial estimates for the project’s cost are $470 million.

Milam County 4-H Members Excel at District 8 Competitions

Milam County 4-H members showcased their skills and dedication at the District 8 Roundup and Consumer Decision Making Contest held in Waxahachie on Friday, April 17, followed by the District 8 Horse Judging Contest on Saturday, April 18. Participants demonstrated excellence across multiple contest areas, earning top honors and representing the county with pride.
