The Cameron Independent School District Board of Trustees, at its June 2, 2025, meeting, named Dr. Mistie Dakroub as finalist for superintendent. By law, the Board must now wait 21 days before voting to hire Dakroub to be the new superintendent for Cameron ISD. Dakroub is slated to replace out-going Superintendent Kevin Sprinkles.
Long time cross country coach at Cameron Yoe High School Dale Keen has been chosen for induction into the Texas Cross Country Hall of Fame. The CCCAT (Cross Country Coaches Association of Texas) is dedicated to promoting boys and girls High School cross country will have the 2025 Summer Coaches clinic June 6 & 7 at the Marriott Courtyard hotel in New Braunfels. June 6th will be the Hall of Fame induction ceremony, and Dale Keen has been chosen for induction into the Texas Cross Country Hall of Fame. Congratulations to Dale Keen on a much deserved Hall of Fame induction. We hope many people can attend and the city of Cameron is very proud.

On Sunday, May 18, All Saints Episcopal Church welcomed these recipients of the All Saints Foundation Scholarship for the 2025-2026 school year. Pictured with Fr.
