St. Paul set for annual BBQ dinner

St. Paul Lutheran Church and School in Thorndale is busy preparing for it’s annual BBQ dinner and auction fundraiser on Sunday, Feb. 10, at the Thorndale Firemen’s Hall on FM 486 North. Everyone is encouraged to bring their appetites for a delicious barbeque meal, which includes BBQ brisket, sauce, pinto beans, noodles, potato salad, coleslaw, bread, pickles and onions. Plates will be sold at the door for $10 each and will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Desserts will be available for a free-will offering. Dine-in or to-go plates will be available. A live auction featuring hand-crafted items, baked goods, canned goods and many items of special interest for all ages will begin at 12:30 p.m. St. Paul would like to give a special thanks in advance to Thrivent Financial for their support to this event.
