The Milano Lady Eagles softball team traveled to Kyle Lehman High School in Kyle to take on the Shiner Lady Comanches in the regional semi-finals.
The Milano Eagles baseball team traveled to Thrall to take on the Bartlett Bulldogs in the area round of the playoffs over the weekend of May 8-10. Milano lost the series 2-1 against Bartlett to bring their season to an end. Game 1 took place on Thursday May 8, and Milano lost to Bartlett 10-7 in a heartbreaking game that went eight innings. Bartlett was the first to get on the scoreboard in the first inning when a Milano fielding error brought in two runs to give the Bulldogs a 2-0 lead.
