The Cameron Lady Yoe basketball team got their first district win of the year against the McGregor Lady Bulldogs on Friday, Jan. 13. Cameron won in a nailbiter 33-32.
The Cameron Yoemen hosted the Rockdale Tigers on Tuesday night at Yoe Gym and won in convincing fashion 71-48.
The Yoe High Fall Sports Banquet will be Jan. 23. A meal will be served at 6 p.m. with the awards ceremony at 7:15 p.m. in the Yoe High Performing Arts Center.
The Cameron Lady Yoe soccer team participated in an in-season tournament hosted by Navasota this weekend. The Lady Yoe came out of the tournament finishing 2-2.
The Cameron Yoemen basketball team hosted the Little River Academy Bumblebees Friday night at Yoe Gym. The Yoemen would fall to Academy in a 60-59 heartbreaker.
