The Yoe High Boys Golf team took the bronze medal at their first tournament of the season earlier this week. Nikolas Keratsopoulos was the bronze medalist with a score of 70.
The Milano Lady Eagles (12-13, 6-3) came from behind on Friday to defeat Mumford 40-33 at Geneva Paceley Gym. Milano led 10-6 after the first quarter, but trailed 20-11 at halftime.
The topic of what the state needs to do to help communities recover from 2017’s Hurricane Harvey arose as the Senate Finance Committee opened public hearings on the budget this week.
