Yoemen win first series against Lorena

The Yoemen come from behind with a big seven run seventh to defeat Lorena 12-5 in the 3A UIL Regional Quarterfinal opener on Thursday night.

Bobby Borgas went 3 for 4 with 3 RBI while Tracer Lopez gets the win in relief of Brannon McCall’s quality start.

The series resumes Saturday, May 21, at 4 p.m. back at Lake Belton High School. The Yoemen  will be the home team.
