LADY YOE HOOPS

The Cameron Lady Yoe basketball team hosted the Lorena Lady Leopards on Tuesday, Jan. 2. Cameron fell to Lorena, losing 53-25. Cameron had some struggles in the first half, going into halftime trailing 29-15. The Lady Leopards continued to dominate in the second half, outscoring Cameron 24-10 to beat the Lady Yoe 53-25. With this loss, Cameron now has a record of 13-7 and a district record of 1-3. Up next, the Lady Yoe will travel to take on the Little River Academy Lady Bees. The game will be on Friday, Jan. 5 and tip-off is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. Above, Amani Fields goes up for the basket against Lorena.
