The set stayed even until a nice kill by Smith put the Lady Yoe up 13-10 over Troy. The two teams continued to battle but a tip over shot from Kaley White (3) gave Cameron a 14-13 lead, and the lead soon became 20-17 with an ace on the serve by Lindsay Talafuse (7). Troy came marching back and the score became 21-20 Cameron. The Lady Yoe slowed the Trojanettes momentum with a clutch kill by Tucker to make it a 22-20 lead. However, the Lady Yoe kept fighting and brought their deficit down to 8-7 with an ace from Talafuse.
