Cameron’s Xavier Torress competed in the National Collegiate Corn Hole Championship last week. Torres traveled to Myrtle Beach, S.C., over the weekend to compete in the National Collegiate Corn Hole Championship. He finished 4-2 in pool play and advanced to the 64 player, single-elimination bracket. After making it all the way to the top eight, he would finally be bested, placing sixth overall in the tournament. This major invitational tournament is just one part of one of the nation’s most rapidly growing sports, which has tournaments on the amateur, collegiate, and professional levels.
