Cameron track stars head to Area Meet

Last week the Cameron boys and girls track teams hosted the District 19-3A Track Meet.

Several Yoemen and Lady Yoe are headed to the Area Track Meet, which has been rescheduled from April 10 to Friday, April 12, in McGregor. All varsity athletes that finished fourth place or better will compete at Area.

The Lady Yoe finished in third place as a team with 101 points.

Results for the Lady Yoe were:

High jump: Crystal Daniels - 5th place 

Triple Jump: Yierra Flemings - 1st place

Long Jump: Kennedy Banks - 5th place , Yierra Flemings - 1st place

Shot Put: Amani Fields- 6th place

100-meter dash: Tamariana Miller - 4th place, Dayzsha Bradley - 3rd place

200-meter dash: Yierra Flemings - 1st place, Crystal Daniels - 2nd place

400-meter dash: Yierra Flemings - 1st place

100-meter hurdle: Yierra Flemings - 1st place

4x100 - 3rd place: Crystal Daniels, Dayzsha Bradley, Kennedy Banks, Camryn Ward

4x200 - 2nd place: Crystal Daniels, Dayzsha Bradley, Kennedy Banks, Camryn Ward

The Yoemen finished in fourth place with 92 point.

Results for the boys were: 

100-meter dash: Zach Evans - 6th place

200-meter dash: Kardarius Bradley - 2nd place

400-meter dash: Kardarius Bradley - 2nd place

800-meter run: DJ Flemings - 4th place

3200-meter run: Brady Havens - 6th place

300-meter hurdles: DJ Flemings - 2nd place

Long Jump:  D’Auntray Bradley - 3rd place, Braylan Drake - 6th place

Triple jump: D’Auntray Bradley - 1st place, Homero Najera - 6th place 

4x100 - 2nd place: Kardarius Bradley, D’Auntray Bradley, Kason Goolsby, and Braylan Drake

4x200 - 1st place: Zach Evans, D’Auntray Bradley, Henry Johnson, and Braylan Drake

4x400 - 4th place: Zach Evans, Homero Najera, Braylan Drake, and DJ Flemings
