Lady Yoe Track claim District Title

The Lady Yoe Track team is headed for the Area Track Meet after a first place finish at the District Track Meet in Rockdale last week.

The girls came in first place with 144 points and several first place finishes.

Yierra Flemings had first place finishes in the 100-meter hurdles, long jump, triple jump, and 400 -meter dash.

All three relay teams came in first place. 

Crystal Daniels, Lauren Harris, Dayzsha Bradley, and Brittani Drake were first in 4X100 relay.

Brittani Drake, Lauren Harris, Kennedy Banks, and Crystal Daniels were first in 4X200 relay.

Brittani Drake, Yierra Flemings, Lauren Harris, and Camryn Ward were first in 4X400 relay.

Amani Fields: Shot put – third

Delilah Lara: Pole vault – sixth

Lauren Harris: Pole vault – fifth

Kennedy Banks: 200-meter dash – fifth

Logan Pevehouse: 3,200-meter run – second, 1,600-meter run - fourth

Dayzsha Bradley: 100-meter dash – fourth

Ka’Sara Brooks: Triple jump – fifth

Camryn Ward: 400 meter dash - sixth

Crystal Daniels: 200 meter dash – second

Brittani Drake: Long jump – fifth, Triple jump – fourth

Boys

The Yoemen track team came in sixth place at the District meet with 65 points.

Results for the boys were:

Charlie Mayer: High jump - fifth 

D’Auntray Bradley: Triple jump – fifth

Ja’Quorius Hardman: Triple jump – second, long jump - fifth 

Colby Wilson: Discuss - sixth

Kardarius Bradley: 200-meter dash - fourth, 100-meter dash - third, 400-meter dash - third

Damon Flemings: 800-meter run – 3rd, 1,600-meter run – fifth

Brady Havens: 3,200-meter run – fifth

Cade Hubnik: 110-meter hurdles – fifth

Armando Reyes: 400-meter dash - fourth

Braylan Drake, D’Auntray Bradley, Ja’Quorius Hardman, and Armando Reyes were fourth in 4X100 relay.

Braylan Drake, D’Auntray Bradley, Noah Vega, and Ja’Quorius Hardman were sixth in 4X200 relay.

Braylan Drake, Noah Vega, Armando Reyes, and Cade Hubnik were fourth in 4X400 relay.

The Area Track meet took place on April 19.
