Thorndale PD warns of scam

The Thorndale PD is asking residents to be aware of a scammer going around the community.

In a Facebook post Thorndale PD asked residents to be aware of a thin black male in a small red car.

They said this man was described to TPD as clean shaven, dressed nicely and calls himself Tyler. The man trying to obtain info from elderly. 

Please call TPD immediately if someone matching the description posted comes to your home claiming to be with Rockdale Ford or an energy company.  

The man first claimed to be with Rockdale Ford then started talking about how all of Thorndale is switch to Reliant Energy. Neither is true.
