Thorndale City Council approves several items

The Thorndale City Council met on July 12 and approved several items.
The council appointed Don Allman PC as auditor for fiscal year 2022-23 as well as approving a budget amendment to include the road maintenance project.
They also approved authorizing the City Administrator to execute and submit all necessary documents to TCEQ for the wastewater treatment plant.
Council also approved a resolution granting an easement to ONCOR Electric, located on the west side of 486 North across from the Fireman’s Hall and approved the City Administrator to proceed with the procedures for a Tax Abatement for Thorndale Plaza II.
