State Bound

Last week the Thorndale boys and girls track teams participated in the Regional Meet hosted by Texas A&M Kingsville. Bethany Preusse was the lone State qualifier for the girls team. She finished first place in the shot put and first place in the discus. The boys will have four runners in the State meet. Everton White finished third place in the 100-meter dash. Carson McCoy finished first place in both the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash. The 4x100 relay team finished in first place. That relay team includes Jayden Clawson, Everton White, Owen Pyeatt, and Carson McCoy. The State meet will be on Friday, May 3, at the Mike A Myers stadium at the University of Texas. Congratulations to all the Thorndale track runners who are headed to the State Meet.
