Bulldogs are Bi-District Champs

The Thorndale Bulldogs basketball team traveled to Giddings to take on the Shiner Comanches on Tuesday, Feb. 20, for the Bi-District round of the playoffs. Thorndale destroyed Shiner, winning 69-32 to advance to the area round. The Bulldogs were dominant in the first half, outscoring Shiner 40-15. Thorndale continued to keep their foot on the gas pedal in the second half, outscoring them 29-17 to win 69-32. Up next, the Bulldogs will take on a familiar playoff opponent in the Mumford Mustangs in the area round. The game will be on Thursday, Feb. 21, at Giddings High School and tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
