A few weeks ago, I wrote about the growth that we are already seeing and the new growth that we see applying for permits on almost a daily basis right now.
Last Thursday was D-Day and I started to write about that for last week’s paper, but I decided to take the week to soak up all the remembrances and tributes before I sat down to write this.
Often times I use these column inches for some in-depth discussion on something. This week I thought I would just take some time and discuss a couple of items going on in Milam County.
When I was a kid, it seemed like all the older gentlemen of the community were members of the American Legion or the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
