Wilmer Dean Green

Wilmer Dean Green, 82, of Cameron passed from this life, Saturday, July 2, 2022.  Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.  Burial will follow in the Davilla Cemetery.  Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. 

Mrs. Green, a retired health counselor, was born June 16, 1940, in Milam County to Booker T. Williams Sr. and Ella B. (Hill) Williams. She married Dan Green on Aug. 14, 1987, and he preceded her in death in 2010. Mrs. Green was a member of the North Orchard Street Church of Christ. 

She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Latonya Floyd; brother, Booker T. Williams Jr.; sisters, Ernestine Williams, Jewel Cook, Christine Knight and Ella Williams. 

Left to cherish her memory are sons, Rufus Floyd (Ginger) of Temple, and Ronald Floyd of Cameron; daughters, Teresa Freeman (Will) of Temple, Audrey Floyd of Temple, Angela Daniels of Round Rock, and Wynelda Floyd of Cameron; sisters, Darlene Burleson of Cameron, Dorothy Dickerson (Emmitt) of Salado, and Alma Allen of Temple; brother-in-law, Fred Knight of Katy; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren; and special friends of the family Ricky Haynes of Cameron and Kay Mitchum of Houston.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
