Wilbert Willie Lucko

Wilbert Willie Lucko, 85, of Cameron died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2020, in a Cameron nursing and rehab center.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at the funeral home.

Mr. Lucko was born July 13, 1934, in the Belmena community of Milam County to Louis and Hulda (Krause) Lucko.  In 1962, he married Ruth Margaret “Judy” Smith and she preceded him in death in 2010. He worked for and retired from Alcoa in Rockdale. He was a member of the Abiding Savior Lutheran Church in Cameron.  He is survived by: daughter,           Lisa Lucko-Powell of Cameron; sons, Louis Lucko of Dallas, and Michael Lucko of Austin; and sister, Alice Eichinger of Rockdale.
