Traion Lemond Smith

Traion Lemond Smith, 22, of Cameron died Nov. 22, 2020, in an accidental drowning incedent near Cameron. 

Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020, at C.H. Yoe High Football Stadium.  Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home.

Traion was born in Temple on July 18, 1998, to Michelle Smith and Frazier Lewis.  He joined the Body of Christ at an early age and attended both True Love Baptist Church and Lights Chapel Baptist Church. He attended C.H. Yoe High School in Cameron and graduated in 2016. After graduation he attended UMHB College for one year and then was employed by Charlotte Pipe in Cameron.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lillie and Albert Smith Jr. and Arthur Mary Lewis. 

He leaves to cherish on his loving memories: his loving mother, Michelle Greer (Gaylon) of Cameron; his father, Frazier Lewis (Lorena) of Temple; grandmother, Donneta Cummings of Fort Worth; his siblings, Dashon Smith, Natasha Greer, Frazier Lewis Jr.,  Ahmad Braziel, Kayla Lewis, Feyana Lewis, Falecia Williams, Fierra Lewis, and Madelyn Gibbons; girlfriend, Vanessa Gerza; and by a host of loving nieces nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
