Russell McLerran

Russell McLerran, 75, of Cameron died Friday, Jan. 22, 2021, at a Temple hospital.  Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021, at Oak Hill Cemetery Pavilion.

Mr. McLerran, a retired welder, was born April 17, 1945, in Pampa, to Graham and Nina (Turner) McLerran. He married Betty Jean Williams on July 2, 1965, and she preceded him in death in 2020. 

He is survived by: daughters          , Marie Shaw of Cameron and Lela McLerran of Utica, Ohio; brothers, Wayne McLerran of Cameron, John McLerran and wife Glenda of Belton, Mike McLerran and wife Jeannie of Cameron, and James McLerran and wife Suzanne of Caldwell; grandchildren, Steven Shaw, Christopher Shaw, Kayla Shaw; and great-grandchildren, Zanyne Shaw, Kensli Shaw, Beckham Shaw, Kamri Shaw, Collyn Shaw and Deckard Shaw.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
