Rudolph Cyril Mayer Jr.

Rudolph Cyril Mayer Jr. died Oct. 6, 2020. He was born in Cameron on Jan. 8, 1941, to Rudolph and Mary Kolodejcak Mayer.

He attended St. Anthony School and Yoe High School in Cameron and graduated Business School in San Antonio. Rudolph was a member of St. Monica Church in Cameron and as an adult was an active member of St. Ignatia Church in Austin.

He was an accountant by profession and was a long-time employee of the Texas Lottery Commission.

Rudy enjoyed working with his church and visits from his friends and family. He appreciated his “caregivers” and friends for the years of assistance and love.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by over 30 first cousins and countless friends.

Services will be held at Marek- Burns-Laywell Chapel with Father Dimitrij Colankin on Friday, Oct. 16 at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St Monica’s Cemetery in Cameron.
