Robert Russell Wise

Robert Russell Wise, 71, of Lott, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2019, at his home.  Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 2019, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.

Mr. Wise, a retired self-employed carpenter, was born April 3, 1948, in Cameron to W. J. “Buster” Wise Jr. and Ruby Elizabeth (Hunt) Wise. He was a graduate of C.H. Yoe High School and was a U. S. Air Force Veteran. He married Beatriz Salazar on June 15, 1991.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Harbor.

He is survived by his wife, Bea Wise of Lott; daughter, Bianca Salazar Wise of Austin; brothers, Charles Wise of Cameron, Harvey Wise of Bryan, and Clell Wise of Bryan; and sisters, Margie Horton of Humble and Theresa Klecka of Academy.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
