Margaret Louise Currin

Margaret Louise Currin, 85, of Little River/Academy, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021, in a Temple hospital.
Graveside funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3, 2021, at Gause City Cemetery.
Ms. Currin was born in Gause on Nov. 24, 1935, to Seth Graydon and Velma D. (Hafley) Gaston. She had many professions over the years such as homemaker, realtor, army surplus dealer and others, but her favorite job was mom and grandma.
She is survived by: daughters, Karen Ann Knabe of Bryan, Linda Jean Cox and husband Carl of Bryan, Connie Beth Currin of Bryan, Sherry Dawn Currin of Bryan, and Shirley Diane Whiteley and husband Clifford of Academy; brothers, Robert Gaston of Leander and Jack Gaston of Burnett; sister, Lillian Linton of Sommerville; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
