Mable Boldin

Mable Boldin, 87, of Cameron entered her eternal rest on Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2021, peacefully at her home. 

Celebration of her life will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021, at the Central Church of Christ in Cameron. Burial will follow in the Cameron Rest Cemetery. A time of viewing and visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home.

Ms. Boldin, a retired LVN for the Olin E. Teague VA Hospital in Temple, was born March 18, 1934 in LaGrange, Texas to her mother Everleaner Knight and Richard Milligan. She was a member of the Central Church of Christ.

Ms. Boldin was preceded in death by her mother and father; also by four brothers, Albert “Jake” Brown, Raymond Brown, Sterling Brown, and Samuel Brown.

She leaves her daughter, Joyce Sims and husband Terry of Ormond Beach, Fla., son, Frederick Boldin of Cameron; brother, Edward Walter Milligan and wife Carrie of Temple; granddaughter, Sierra Sims; grandsons, Xavier Sims and Jeremiah Boldin; her favorite nephew, Albert “Jake” Brown Jr.; and a host of other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
