Lucille Katherine Prokisch

Lucille Katherine Prokisch, 95, of Cameron died Sunday, April 25, 2021, in a Cameron nursing and rehab facility. 

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 20, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron with Bro. Wayne Kirk officiating.  Visitation will be Thursday from 9-10:45 a.m. at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Prokisch, a homemaker, was born Oct. 7, 1925, in Milam County to Albert and Katherine (Mining) Dorner. She married Archie Eugene Prokisch on May 12, 1945, and he preceded her in death. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Cameron. 

She is survived by: sons, Ronnie Prokisch and wife Vickie of Cypress and Dean Prokisch and wife Janie of Rosharon; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
