Louis Martin Vrazel

Louis Martin Vrazel, 81, of Cameron, died Tuesday, June 4, 2019, in a Cameron nursing and rehab facility. 

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 7, at St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Cameron with Rev. Darrell Kostiha officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Monica’s Cemetery. 

Mr. Vrazel was born July 10, 1937, in Yarrelton to Joe and Mary (Vanek) Vrazel.  He married Alice Dohnalik on Sept. 26, 1959.  He had worked as a mechanic for Hefley-Stedman and Coca-Cola for many years.  He was a member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church and KJT. 

Mr. Vrazel was preceded in death by brothers, Ladis Vrazel and Joe Vrazel Jr.; and by sisters, Angeline Kopriva and Rosalee Kopriva. 

He is survived by his wife, Alice Dohnalik Vrazel; sons, Gary Vrazel and wife Marlene, Steven Vrazel and wife Cindy, and Louis Vrazel Jr. and wife Patsy; nine grandchildren, Lori Flores and husband Frank, Julie Tomascik and husband Tracy, Haley Kelley and husband Blair, Tyler Vrazel, Ashley Vrazel, Amanda Vrazel, Jonathan Vrazel and fiancée Curi, Kayla Sumrall and husband Joey, and Joshua Vrazel and wife Megan; two step-grandchildren,    Megan and Blake Bilbrey; 10 great-grandchildren, Eilie Vrazel, Rhylee and Easton Sumrall, Jaiton Vrazel, Gunner and Axel Flores, Ataly Kelley,  Zoe and Jace Vrazel, and Branson Davis; one step-great-grandchild, Brayden Evans; brother, Leo Vrazel; sisters, Mary Waltman and Annie Susik and husband Martin; brother-in-law, Laddie Dohnalik and wife Emily, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
